La Canada California:
This city is nestled between the San Gabriel Mountains and the San
Rafael Hills. At its highest neighborhood the elevation is 2,400 ft high.
La Canada contains
Descanso Gardens and JPL. Near by in the Angeles Crest National Forest are small ski
resorts such as Mountain High, Mount Baldy, and Mount Waterman. The school district is La Canada Unified School District and its high school is one of the top 100 high schools in the United States. Along
with the school district there are three private schools: St. Francis High School, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, and Flintridge
Preparatory School. It has two community news papers, the La Canada Valley Sun and the La Canada Outlook. One of the many
parks is Hahamongna Watershed Park which has a frisbee golf course.
