Glendale California: The Jewel City straddles the Verdugo Mountains and continues northerly
to the base of the foothills and extends from the boarder of Eagle Rock to the edge of the San Fernando Valley. It is the
third largest city in Los Angeles County and the seventeenth largest city in the state of California.
North West
Glendale includes Brand Park which was once the grounds of an estate called El Miradero owned by Leslie Brand and contains
the mansion known now as Brand Library. South Glendale is home to the Alex Theater on Brand Boulevard built in 1925 is the second home to the
Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and the Alex Film Society. Also in South Glendale is the Americana, an up scale outdoor shopping and residential community.
North Glendale has appealing communities such as The Woodlands, Spar Heights, Montecito Park and Old Town Montrose. Chevy Chase is located in the beautiful canyons with Chevy Chase Country Club.
